Kate loves sticks. Little sticks, big sticks, broom handles, or, in this case, the rod that goes in the patio door tracks. I was taking pictures of her in the doorway when she pulled out the stick and started playing with it. She'll wave it around, passing it back and forth from one hand to the other and singing to herself. Maybe when she's older she'll get into fencing, like her daddy. (Doug calls these pictures "Kate Fu." Ha.)
