I made these for baby
Ada, who was born at home three weeks ago (delivered by
Sarah when the midwife didn't make it in time.)
The pattern is "White Shells" from
Bootie Collection by Kay Meadors. (Written patterns. I like charted much better, but the booties are worth a little pattern reading!)
I don't know a thing about making booties, but they are absolutely gorgeous1
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these are amazingly cute!!! Can't believe how intricate they are--and they're both about the same size, too! (I knit booties way back in knitting class and one was big enough for a 10-year old, and the other was the right size. Not sure how that happened. *lol*)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! They are so lacy and delicate. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe word verification says "bootenv" which is almost very appropriate!
Heather--one is slightly larger than the other, but I figured I wouldn't mention it!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIncredible. How long did it take to make them?
ReplyDeleteAda loves them, and so do I! Thanks you so much Helena. They are more than beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA thing of booty is a joy forever. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are so gorgeous, Sigh! What great work you do.
ReplyDeleteAnd, eeep! Sarah didn't make it on time!
I misread that I realize, congratulations to Sarah when the midwife didn't make it on time!
ReplyDeleteThose are such precious booties. I just started crocheting and I don't think I could ever figure out how to make something that difficult. Wow!
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are so pretty Helena.
